Hi! I’m Tonya! A published photographer, writer, dog and cat mom. The photographer behind the lens of EEP for the last 15 years. I’m a firm believer in doing what you love and loving what you, which I’m beyond blessed to do with this business. I live and love the simple life and capturing my subjects on camera with editorial and documentary style direction. I specialize in natural light photography offering services for weddings, couples, high school seniors, and other sessions upon request. My goal with each photo shoot is to produce timeless, romantic, in-the-moment photographs with elevated true color editing.

Reigning from Pittsburg State University, I earned a Master of Arts degree in Communication: Photojournalism after completing a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Communication. Raised in Southeast Kansas, I value authenticity, hard work, ingenuity, and providing valuable work to be cherished for years to come. With a background in photojournalism, my goal with each session is to achieve what the word means: using pictures to tell a story. I love being able to communicate someone’s story or life milestone through photographs. Whether it’s documenting a wedding as two lives become one or capturing high school senior portraits for young adults as they approach graduation, I cherish this special skill that I’ve been blessed with the ability to do.

I’m not out for competition with other photographers. I just do what I do and share it with others who support my photography journey. I love building my portfolio, challenging myself, and striving to become a better photographer than I was yesterday!
